Birdies is a self-distributed indie comedy out now on Prime Video, Apple TV, Redbox and many more platforms. From the success of Birdies and The Golf Jokes we now have over 90k followers across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube, and plan to leverage that cult following with all of our projects in the very near future. Birdies premiered in February 2022 to a sold out audience at Thalian Hall in Wilmington, NC, and was released on Amazon Prime in May, 2022. It was made with $110K of liquid cash and in-kind services and locations, with a $30k cash marketing budget, and in less than 18 months the film has grossed over $160K and repaid all private loans, investors, and sweat equity.
Birdies has been streamed over 4 million minutes across all platforms due to our team’s effective self-distribution method of promoting viral social media content and paid ads where we reached over 100 million people. The film has had additional media coverage from platforms like Golf Week/USA Today, Yahoo! Sports IndieWire, WRAL, WECT, and Star News documenting success as an indie comedy and a self-distribution model.

Jamie Lane, Producer - Jamie Lane is an actor and producer based in North Carolina and currently studying for his Masters in Acting for Film at Savannah College of Art and design. Jamie produced Birdies and played the part of Adrian. He produced and acted in the independent feature Hold On Loosely (2011), and has been on shows like Spin City, Windfall and Upright Citizens Brigade. NBD!
Samuel W. Reed, Producer - Writer, director, producer, and Amazon bestselling novelist. Producer and writer for critically-acclaimed disability rights documentary CinemAbility starring Jamie Foxx, Ben Affleck, Gary Sinise, Geena Davis, and many more. Next was his feature directorial debut Into the Wilderness, and the indie golf comedy “Birdies”, which he produced. He is currently in post-production with his second feature film, Harbor, which shot in early 2023.
